Christopher P. Siegel, Chief Executive Officer
Chris Siegel is a third generation family member who joined the Ruckno Organization in 2005. Chris is a graduate of St. Joseph"s University in Philadelphia with both a BS and MBA in Marketing/Management. Chris spent a dozen years managing and growing several businesses in the Philadelphia area. His own personal experience in Real Estate Development and Financing has brought a new level of expertise and energy to the company. In a short time, Chris has expanded and redefined the company. Working in collaboration with Ruckno Construction Company, Chris has created Ruckno Construction Equities Division and has opened up a new Financing Branch for Ruckno Construction. Chris is a graduate of the Leadership Wilkes-Barre Executive Series and serves on several community boards including the Westmoreland Club, the Wyoming Seminary Alumni Board and the American Heart Association.
Ernie McCabe, President/ Commercial Division
As President of the Commercial Division, Ernie has helped to expand our operations to include Healthcare Design and Construction, Construction Management Opportunities, and a Facilities Maintenance Service Line. Ernie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that is second to none in the industry. His years of experience in construction management, in sales, and "design-build", as well as facilities maintenance has earned him a superb reputation in the region as a well-respected and dedicated professional. Ernie is a member of the Westmoreland Club and an active member of his church community.
Louis E. Ruckno, President/ Residential Division
Lou Ruckno is a second-generation family member and has been with Ruckno Construction Company since 1971. After attending Marquette University in Milwaukee, he returned home to the family business and quickly learned the construction trade after the devastation of Hurricane Agnes in Wilkes-Barre in 1972. Lou has grown through the "ranks" from carpenter to foreman to sales supervisor to President. Through his leadership and his expertise, the company has grown and thrived to become a third generation family business. The company continues to serve the Wyoming Valley and its surrounds, while expanding into Northeastern Pennsylvania and the Pocono Region. Lou is an active member of the Westmoreland Club Board of Directors and is an avid fly fisherman, and member of the North Mountain Club.
JoAnn R. Jones, V.P. Finance
JoAnn joined Ruckno Construction in 1978 as an assistant to the then General Manager, Wilmer Williams. A second generation family member, for nearly 30 years JoAnn has been the "nuts and bolts" of Ruckno's Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. She is a job cost expert as well as the creative energy of all of the Ruckno family businesses. JoAnn loves the challenge of any new project and delights in making things happen. If there is a question or a problem, she will find the answer. She has been the "glue" of Ruckno Construction for nearly three decades. JoAnn currently serves on the board of the Catherine McAuley Center and is a member of the Westmoreland Club.
Mary R. Siegel, V.P. Marketing
After years in the Education field Mary joined the family business in 1989. Mary's role has been one of support to all facets of the business. Whether it is marketing, public relations or organizational planning Mary enjoys her role of telling Ruckno Construction's story to the community. She takes great pride in the family's community involvement and presence, and believes strongly in the responsibility of local businesses giving back to their community. Mary has been involved in many local boards and community activities, including Mercy Health Care Partners, The Luzerne Foundation, The United Way and others.
Joseph R. Stager, Sales Supervisor
Joe Stager has been part of the Ruckno Construction "family" for over 30 years. Joe began his career with Ruckno Construction in 1977 as a Sales Manager working with our management team. In 1980 Joe moved to our "sister" company, Forty Fort Lumber as General Manager. In 1997, Joe's extensive experience with building materials and general contractors in the building industry brought him back to Ruckno Construction as a Sales Supervisor. Joe is a very visible member of our Wyoming Valley Community. He currently serves on the board of the American Red Cross, the Back Mountain Library Association, and is an active member of the Dallas Rotary.
Daniel Turchin, Sales Supervisor
Dan Turchin is a 35-year employee of Ruckno Construction Company. Dan began his career with Ruckno in 1972 at the age of 19 during the Agnes Flood. Dan soon learned his trade working with many "old time" skilled carpenters. After years in the field as a carpenter, lead carpenter and then foreman, Dan was "coaxed" into the office as a Sales Supervisor in the early 90's. His skills as a seasoned carpenter and craftsman have served him well in this role. Dan has successfully completed many residential and commercial jobs of all sizes and challenges, and he continues to have and grow a loyal following of many long term customers.
Kenneth Lexie, Sales Supervisor - Awning Division
Ken joined Ruckno Construction in 2004 to head our awning division. Ken is a graduate of Lake Lehman High School and the United Penn Business School. After 10 years with United Penn he joined the staff at Enterprise Aluminum Products where he worked for nearly 15 years. There, Ken gained great knowledge and understanding of both aluminum and canvas awnings. Ken brings a wealth of expertise in design and production of awnings and their mechanical workings. He also has an artistic eye for designing awnings to fit and enhance any space. Ken's attention to detail and to customer service leaves him a long list of satisfied clients. Ken is an active member of the Kingston Kiwanis Club, and is currently the President for 2008.
Karen Mulherin, Administrative Assistant/Office Manager
Karen came to Ruckno in 1991 with years of experience in the building products industry. Her roles with Ruckno have been vast and varied. She has served as the "front line" of Ruckno for over 16 years. Karen also spent years working at our affiliate company, Forty Fort Lumber Co. until its closing. In that time she gained great knowledge of both building materials and construction practices. Karen's role is indispensable to the daily running of Ruckno's operations. A friendly, competent professional, Karen takes on any task that is asked of her and completes it in an efficient and timely manner.
Lee Eckert, President, Keystone Facilities Maintenance, LLC
Lee began working at Bevaco in 1983 and worked in various capacities until eventually being promoted to President of US Foodservice in 1996. His vast experience in logistics, sales, and management have all been great keys to his success. Lee has now taken on a new challenging role of leading the growth of Keystone Facilities Maintenace, LLC, a division of Ruckno Construction Company. Keystone's growth has led them into over 14 states that span from the Mid-West through New England. Lee is actively involved in the community and serves on several community boards, including the Association for the Blind.

Bob Williams, Facilities Logistics Manager
Bob joined Ruckno Construction in 2007 as the Logistics Manager for our Facilities Maintenance Division. Bob began his career in the Maintenance field in the early 1980's. He brings with him years of experience to the quickly growing Ruckno Facilities Maintenance Division. Bob oversees all of the technicians in this division, making sure all work is at the highest standard possible. He is highly motivated to provide outstanding customer service to our customers, and pays close attention to the timeline of our customers needs.
Robert M. Naples, Jr., Project Manager/Estimator
Rob joined Ruckno Construction in 2008 as a Project Manager/Estimator. He started his career in 1993 as a carpenter's helper on new home construction. From there, Rob attended college at Penn State University for Architectual Technology. He then became a draftsman for an architectual firm out of New Jersey, designing First Union Banks. In 1997, Rob returned to the work side of construction, where he joined the New Jersey Carpenters Union as a Construction Job Foreman, where he was in charge of building projects such as the FBI building in Newark, NJ and the NJ Transit Train Station. Rob then moved to PA and became an operations manager for a construction company in the Pocono's, where he was in charge of crew/estimating and all company operations. Rob brings with him to Ruckno many years of experience in the Residential/Commercial Construction field and in Architectural Estimating.
Nancy Petrikonis, Facilities Maintenance Logistics
Nancy Petrikonis joined Ruckno Construction in 2008 in logstics for our Facilities Maintenance Division. Nancy has been involved in the construction/facilities maintenance business for the past five years. She brings with her much experience in all administrative aspects of business, including payroll, invoicing and processing work orders. Nancy is involved in billing, as well as completing many other tasks with excellence. Dedicated and hard-working, Nancy is an important asset to our Facilities Maintenance Division.
A.J. Bittner, President, Keystone Energy, LLC
A.J. is a graduate of Dallas High School, and earned his degree from the University of New Hampshire. As President of Keystone Energy, LLC, a division of Ruckno Construction Company, A.J. will be sharing his knowledge of renewable energy. His unique certification in photovoltaics positions Keystone Energy as a leader in the industry. With A.J.'s energy knowledge, we can now help guide residential and commercial clients to not only conserve energy, but also produce it. As a lifelong member of our community, A.J. is excited and pleased to introduce Solar technology to our area. A.J.'s interests, too numerous to mention, focus around his wife and three children.
